Who is a candidate for Revanesse Versa?

Revanesse Versa is a multi-purpose dermal filler that is used to correct moderate to severe wrinkles and skin folds. It can be used in the cheeks, nasolabial folds, marionette lines, and lips to give a more youthful appearance. Before receiving Versa, we will start with a consultation to discuss your goals and decide on the best treatment plan for you.

What is the procedure like?

When applying Revanesse Versa, the practitioner will first cleanse your face and then insert a small needle under the skin to inject the filler. Most patients describe it as just a slight pinch, but a topical anesthetic can be used to reduce any discomfort.

The procedure takes about one hour, but can be longer if there are multiple syringes to be injected. During your consultation, be sure to discuss any concerns you may have about discomfort. Lidocaine is added to Revanesse Versa to relieve any pain or discomfort, and we also can provide stronger pain relief through dental blocks or a topical numbing cream.

What can I expect afterwards?

There is no downtime necessary after treatment with Revanesse Versa, although most patients experience some amount of swelling for at least two to three days and may have some bruising. We will provide you with aftercare instructions, plus Arnica ointment and ice packs to assist with healing. Results may seem
